Northern Lights is developing the world’s first open-source CO2 transport and storage infrastructure in Øygarden, just outside Bergen city centre.

A whole new business park is emerging at the Energy Park in Øygarden. This includes:
- CO2 storage at the Northern Lights facility (to begin in 2024)
- Access to CO2 for producing new products
- Production of blue hydrogen from natural gas, with integrated storing of CO2
