An investment in the future

By aligning student skills with the needs of local businesses, "Sommarjobb i Vest" helps address the skills gap. It allows businesses to find candidates with relevant training and enables young people to apply their education in real-world settings.

Norwegian work culture places a high value on work-life balance. While working hours may vary, 8-hour workdays/40-hour workweeks are typical. This contributes to a stable work-life balance for the labour force.
