This Year’s Key Themes

Overall, the conference will carry on its objective to help the industry’s ability to innovate, develop and make use of new technologies.

A key focus for this year’s conference will be on “the green shift”. The global energy transition is continuing to gain momentum, with steps being taken toward developing renewable energy sources and apparatuses. Given the size and complexity of today’s energy systems – locally and globally, oil and natural gas will continue to play a role during this transition.

Also, tech innovation will be a key topic, as well as operational challenges and solutions related to drilling, reservoir management and production.

The Covid pandemic and transforming digital technologies have and will continue to evolve how the industry functions. The conference will also address the need for collaboration and how to meet challenges and opportunities moving forward.
