At Seafood Innovation Award 2025 you can get to pitch your idea in front of seafood industry investors, customers and collaborators at NASF 2025, where over 900 CEO’s, experts, investors and analysts gather in Bergen in March. Apply now to get your spot!

Invest in Bergen is proud to be at partner in the Seafood Innovation Award 2025. Together with partners NCE Seafood Innovation, DNB, Pareto Securities, Nordic USV, and The North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) we are now calling start-ups with new and innovative solutions for the seafood industry to compete on a spot to pitch your idea. You apply digitally, and the competitors will get the opportunity to attend the North Atlanctic Seafood Forum 2025, in Bergen from 4th - 6th of March.

One-of-a-kind meeting place

NASF is a one-of-a-kind meeting place, and one of the most important annual meeting places in the global seafood industry. Almost 1000 delegates come to get updated on markets, technology, sustainability and seafood industry challenges.

The t Seafood Innovation Award 2025 event starts with the Seafood Innovation Award Showcase, where the selected companies will pitch for a full audience. Later, the companies get the opportunity to participate in a speed date session with a panel tailored for the pitching companies. A combination of jury votes and votes from the audience will evaluate the ideas and your pitch and pick the winner.

The reception in the stunning medievel hall Haakonshallen kicks of the NASF event and is a great networking event, making it possible to meet the decision makers in the seafood industry. Photo: NASF. 


Prizes and awards

The winning company will in addition win a prize consisting of:

  • NOK 25 000 in cash.
  • 1-year free membership in NCE Seafood Innovation.
  • 2 free NASF passes for 2025.
  • Free membership in Future Ocean Incubator for 3 months.
  • Assistance with the filing of trademark or patent application(s) in Norway and/or abroad from Acapo.
  • Help to networking, ideas and marketing strategy from Annerledeslandet.
  • Design services and graphic assistance from Artgarden.
  • Choose between two alternatives regarding 3D modelling, VR and use of the software Spawn from Nagelld.
  • Sølvrev will be filming the pitching session, and these will be available free to the winner and the runner ups in the competition.

  • Norwegian salmon is part of a healthy diet. The content of omega-3 fatty acids is beneficial for brain and hearth health. One normal dinner portion of salmon covers a person’s weekly recommended intake of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, vitamin B12, vitamin A, selenium, iodine and antioxidants.
  • Norwegian salmon is produced without antibiotics. Thanks to effective fish vaccines, use of antibiotics has almost been eradicated in Norwegian salmon farming.
  • Efficient feed conversion rate: On kilograms of feed is needed to raise one kilogram of salmon, while it takes 3 kg of feed to produce 1 kg of pork and as much as 8 kg of feed to produce 1 kg of beef.
  • Norwegian farmed salmon is exported to over 100 countries. Every day, 22 million meals with Norwegian salmon are served worldwide.
