Meet the Shipping Decision-Makers

“The NHH Shipping Conference – Leadership 2021” will be held in Bergen on Nov. 1st. This annual event is where business and academia meet to discuss the current state of the shipping industry.

This conference gathers scholars, researchers, corporate heads, and even members of Norway’s armed forces. It will be hosted by the Norwegian School of EconomicsMaritime Bergen, and the Bergen Shipowners’ Association.

Leadership 2021 will consist of a series of presentations addressing four key themes:

  • Using Norway’s technical and ocean knowledge to drive global change
  • Digitalisation and a data-driven approach to ensure Norway’s competitive advantage in shipping
  • Reducing carbon emissions from shipping through new cleantech
  • The role of leadership in strategic planning and crisis management
     

In addition to these presentations, there will be opportunities for attendees to network and interact with their industry peers.
