Easy Subsea to Greater Bergen?

The Brazilian subsea company Easy Subsea has visited Bergen and Odda in the past few days, looking to establishing their company in Greater Bergen. We were glad to welcome them.

Easy Subsea recognises that many of the important decision makers in the subsea industry are located in Norway and Scotland, and is considering relocating to Norway. The subsea clusters in Odda and Bergen represent two interesting possibilities for the company.

Easy Subsea has competence within monitoring, control and automation of oil wells. The company is already cooperating with a Bergen based company.

What can we do for you?

Odda Næringshage and Invest in Bergen invited key companies to present the benefits of locating Easy Subsea in Western Norway.

GCE Subsea is an important partner in getting to know to the subsea environment in the region. Through GCE Subsea, Easy Subsea can gain a useful network and connect with important businesses. The organisation also has a good network in the research and development environment in the region. Greater Bergen has a skilled and competent workforce, which Easy Subsea will benefit from if the company relocates in the region.

Connect Vest, Bergen Technology Transfer and Innovation Norway presented the opportunities for establishing the company in Norway, as well as co-working facilities, subsidies and loans for start-ups and potential investors.

We hope Easy Subsea finds our region interesting and beneficial.

Welcome!
