Blue Days Opens in Bergen

Blue Days 2021, Norway’s largest maritime hybrid trade fair, opened at Bergen’s Grieghallen today. This two-day hybrid event will serve as a showcase for the region’s ocean industries, allowing attendees to stay up to date on “what’s happening below the surface”.

Organised in collaboration by Bergen municipality, The Ocean and Agenda Vestlandet, Blue Days 2021 will focus on new, innovative, and sustainable business opportunities throughout the ocean industries. In addition, this will serve to further advance the Ocean City Bergen project.

“Blue Days is important for the Ocean City Bergen project, as well as for the region,” said Elin Sjødin Drange, Head of Business Development for Bergen municipality. She added that Blue Days is where solutions for the “green development of the blue seas” are presented.

Representatives from various maritime service and technology providers, educational institutions and research organisations will be in attendance. This will provide opportunities to showcase new products and services, network, and forge new business relationships within the ocean industries.
