Excellent connectivity to European “data highways”
High-speed submarine fibre cables provide direct connectivity between Norway and Europe as well as the US.
Data centers located near Bergen can operate at a latency of between 13 and 19 m/s round trip (RTD) to Europe’s most important connectivity hubs: Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam and Paris.
Additional submarine cables are under construction, further improving connectivity between Norway and the UK, as well as throughout the European continent.
Soon, the new fiber optic sea cable system between Norway and the UK, the NO-UK, will open. This cable will open a new digital highway to and from the Nordics. It will be able to generate between18 to 48 Terabyte per fiber pair.
Using Tampnet and other operators, we are able to offer the shortest possible route between Norway and the UK and the US.
Dedicated routes
To get the fastest and most optimal path and round trip between Bergen and hubs in Europe, we will make dedicated paths. Below is an example of such a route from Bergen to different European cities.

Connectivity options
There are several carriers from Bergen to the big European hubs. Below, you’ll find an overview, as well as a map to show where the carriers are, and under links to the carriers.
