Matre Data Center Site
Good supply of clean energy and a short time-to-market. The site is close to a strong grid connection point and hydro power production site, and can therefore provide dual feed electrical power at 100 MV.
Matre is a relatively small neighbourhood built up as an industrial area based on the production of hydropower. This area in western Norway is approximately an 80-minute drive from Bergen’s city centre.
Matre includes several plots of land that are ideal for data centers which require a smaller footprint but still need a lot of electrical power. Today, three industrial sites of 18,000 m² in total stand ready to welcome your data centre. The area could be supplied with 100 MW of electricity, and redundant fibre is offered.
GreenByte is developing other sites in Matre, which will soon be available.
