Next-gen media technologies
With media technologies evolving at an unprecedented rate, the media cluster works to steer Norway towards the future.
AI and big data are among the key focus areas for the cluster. To this end, it launched the Norwegian Cognitive Center with cluster member IBM. This collaborative, cross-sector initiative works to strengthen AI infrastructure and competence. 5G technology – a game-changer for global communication and data transmission – is another focus area. With the formation of the Nordic 5G Consortium, this cluster of Nordic media companies works to provide insight and resources, as well as support the development of new 5G products and services.
